How long have you been in business?
We opened our doors on March 03, 1980 and are now one of the oldest travel agencies in the State of Arizona.
What is your primary product or service?
Everything that says "travel," we do it. Domestic and International airline tickets, hotels, resorts, cruises. car
rentals and every type of tour, worldwide. We also handle groups, corporate, incentive travel and will even put together a "family reunion" travel adventure for you to anywhere in the world. Free to anyone, we have passport applications on hand and tons of "discount" coupons for everything from Super Shuttle to The Parking Spot.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I guess we're the "odd ball" because of our old fashion customer service that has carried through the years since we opened our doors in 1980. We listen to people say and we care.....that comes across to everyone who enters our unique office. We do NOT treat people like a number, it's all done on a personal basis. We don't care if someone is spending $100.00 or $10,000.00.....all are treated equal. This may be the reason why our doors are still open while most of our competitors have closed theirs. Customer service is NOT dead at Rawhide Travel and Tours.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just the Glendale, Arizona location. And no, I have no plans to expand.

We're located on the Northwest corner (where Steinmart is) at 59th Avenue and West Bell Road.
What type of payments do you accept?
Everything but crushed aluminum cans and horseshoes.
Which areas do you service?
Everywhere. Although we are located in Glendale, some people drive in from as far away as Chandler and Wickenburg. It's really up to the customer. We have a lot of out-of-state customers and for that reason, we have
always had a toll free number (888-222-7594) for their convenience. From sea to shining sea, we can handle your travel plans no matter where you live.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I am the sole owner but the entire staff, including myself, operate the office on a daily basis. No one is above anyone, we are all equal.
What are your hours of operation?
"Happy Hours," as we refer to them, are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm. I close on the weekends so employees can spend quality time with their families and relax.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Just that we swept them off their feet with our personalized service and saved them lots of cash.
